Today’s traffic: Slowdowns on Billy Graham, Central

Rain has tapered off at midday Monday across the Charlotte region, and the number of collisions in the area also has decreased.

The current problems are on Billy Graham Parkway and Central Avenue.

But there also are slowdowns on portions of Independence Boulevard and W.T. Harris Boulevard in the University City area.

Here is the 12:20 p.m. update:

Uptown area

No current problems

East of Charlotte

Central Avenue at Eastway Drive ... Collision; minor delays.

North of Charlotte

W.T. Harris Boulevard ... Congestion near North Tryon Street and Mallard Creek Church Road; moderate delays.

Davidson-Concord Road at Stanley McElreath Road, near Davidson ... Collision; moderate delays.

North Graham Street at Starita Road ... Disabled vehicle; minor delays.

South of Charlotte

I-485 inner and outer loops ... Congestion-related slowdowns.

Woodlawn Road at Old Pineville Road ... Collision; moderate delays.

Southeast of Charlotte

No current problems.

West of Charlotte

Billy Graham Parkway at West Tyvola Road ... Disabled vehicle; minor delays.
