Military academy representatives meet with Charlotte students

Officials from the U.S. Military Academy, the U.S. Naval Academy, the U.S. Air Force Academy, the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy will be in Charlotte Saturday to meet with middle and high school students.

U.S. Rep. Robert Pittenger will host the 12th Annual Service Academy Day at Charlotte Catholic High School, located at 7702 Pineville-Matthews Rd. in south Charlotte.

The 10 a.m. event include presentations from the five federal service academies. The officials will also be available for conversations with students and their parents.
