1 person injured when car hits store in Rock Hill

One person was injured when a car crashed through the front entrance of a convenience store in Rock Hill on Sunday afternoon. Police were looking for the driver of the car.

Authorities used a K-9 unit in an attempt to track the driver.

The sedan crashed through the front glass doors of the Cherry Road Discount Beverage and Food store at the corner of West Main Street and Cherry Road in Rock Hill.

The female driver fled on foot after the accident, said Rock Hill Executive Officer Mark Bollinger.

One person in the store was knocked down and was taken to the hospital. (Rock Hill) Herald
