A truck driver was injured Thursday morning when a train and truck collided in south Charlotte.
Witnesses said the train and truck were both moving at slow speeds at the time of the crash, about 9:40 a.m. on Texland Avenue. That is two blocks south of Westinghouse Boulevard, just east of Interstate 77.
The force of the collision knocked the truck on its side. Authorities said the truck was carrying concrete powder.
