Charlotte Area Transit System’s light rail service is being curtailed this weekend due to rail line repairs.

Trains are running only between the New Bern and Seventh Street stations through Sunday, according to CATS officials. A temporary bus connector route is operated between the Interstate 485/South Boulevard and New Bern stations.

That bus connector is serving all the closed stations and is running at the same frequency as the train schedule. The bus is picking up riders at these locations:

Outbound Scaleybark: park-and-ride bus lot.

Inbound Scaleybark: Bus stop on northbound South Boulevard at Whitton Street.

Outbound Archdale: Southbound side of Old Pineville Road at Archdale Drive.

Inbound Archdale: Bus bays below the closed light rail station.

Woodlawn, Tyvola, Arrowood, Sharon Road West, I-485/South Boulevard: Park-and-ride bus bays near the closed light rail stations.
