Heavy traffic volume is being reported on southbound Interstate 77 in northern Mecklenburg County, on the inner loop of I-485 in southeast Mecklenburg, and on northbound I-77 coming from York County into south Mecklenburg.
Inbound Independence Boulevard also is slow, due to heavy traffic volume.
