Mooresville Concerts continues its third season on Saturday night as Kate Minogue and The Beggar Boys return with their songs and stories from the Celtic world.
Joining the band in Joe Knox Theater at the Charles Mack Citizen Center will be Irish step dancers from Charlotte's Rince na h'Eireann School of Irish Dance.
Formed in 2001, The Beggar Boys have performed their eclectic blend of Celtic traditional music and original songs and tunes in Boston, Charlotte, Mooresville and elsewhere around the country. The band can also be heard on National Public Radio's "A Carolina Christmas from Biltmore Estate with Kathy Mattea," airing over the holidays.
Saturday's performance will be at 7:30 p.m. A free performers' reception with refreshments is afterward.
Never miss a local story.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students and free for children under 10.
Purchase tickets in advance at the Citizen Center, 215 N. Main St., and the Mooresville Recreation Department office, 418 Carpenter Ave., or call 704-662-3334. Tickets will also be available at the door.
