The Mooresville Jazzercise and owner Carla Belding sponsored a food drive recently for the Mooresville Soup Kitchen and a coat drive for Mooresville Christian Mission.
Jazzercise customers also brought unwrapped toys for Mooresville Christian Mission to a Jazzercise holiday get-together at The Wine Loft in Mooresville. Belding also collects pink Yoplait "Save Lids Save Lives" at the Jazzercise studio, in the lower level of Brawley Commons shopping center, at Brawley School and Williamson roads. The collection benefits the Susan G. Komen for the Cure breast cancer research foundation.

Owner Trudi Zangardi has opened Lake Norman Cottage, a wine shop that also offers gifts and gourmet foods, beside North Harbor Café off Interstate 77 Exit 30.
Zangardi, who lives in Mooresville, opened the shop in late October after 23 years in banking.
The wines come from across the United States and rest of the world and sell for $9 to $150, she said.
Lake Norman Cottage hosts wine tasting dinners from 6 to 9 p.m. Fridays for $20 per person.
"We always start with the house special, the baked brie," Zangardi said. The Dec. 4 dinner also included mini-crab cakes with saffron vinaigrette, shrimp with orzo, and chocolate-covered strawberries.
Lake Norman Cottage also offers $10 wine flights, consisting of five 2-ounce samples of wines, and wine picnic baskets for a day on the lake that include wine, cheese, fruit, utensils and glasses.
