Cabarrus Health Alliance Home Health has a new name, but the same mission: providing comprehensive home health care to residents of Cabarrus, Rowan, Stanly and northern Mecklenburg counties.
The agency recently became a part of Bayada Nurses, a 35-year-old independent home health company with more than 13,000 nurses, home health aides, therapists and social workers in 18 states and the United Kingdom.
Joining Bayada Nurses "allows us to benefit from the comprehensive resources available from a leading national home health company," JoAnn Reed, director of Cabarrus Health Alliance Home Health, said in a news release.
Cabarrus Health Alliance Home Health is now called Bayada Nurses.
"This has been a seamless transition, with no change in personnel," Reed said. "All of our patients continue to receive care from the same team of nurses, therapists and home health aides."
Bayada Nurses provides care at home to adults and seniors who need additional support for a short time, such as after surgery or during a health crisis, Reed said.
Care is provided by nurses, physical, occupational and speech therapists and home health aides.
