Owners Coral Riley of Mooresville and Stephanie Beckman of Huntersville have opened Carolina Wedding Tours, a traveling bridal showcase.
Riley and Beckman have a combined 21 years in the wedding and event industry.
Carolina Wedding Tours lets couples tour local event venues, meet endorsed vendors and get to know other couples planning their weddings.
The inaugural tour March 14 will be in north Charlotte and the Lake Norman area, "but we will be offering regional tours across the Carolinas in 2010," Riley said.
The first tour will include Homewood Suites by Hilton, Northstone Country Club, River Run Country Club and The Ranson House.
Tickets are $45 per couple and include transportation, food, drinks and giveaways.
The tour is sponsored by Rose Transportation, The Michael Catlow Group, Macie's Encore Bridal and Captured By Coral Photography.
West Shore Denver
NewPoint Learning Center recently opened its newest franchise at 3130 N. N.C. 16.
Ginny Wirzbicki is the location's owner and director.
The location serves the Lincoln-Catawba county area and parts of north Mecklenburg and Iredell County. Other centers are in Davidson and Mooresville.
