Associates with the maurices store in the Afton Ridge Shopping Center will participate in the American Cancer Society Relay for Life event at Cabarrus Arena on Saturday by selling various American Cancer Society items.
With 740 stores nationwide, maurices is a national team partner of the society, to which it has donated about $7 million.
Rowan County Salisbury
Owners Jonathan and Sonya McCullough have opened a franchise of HouseMaster, a home-inspection franchiser.
The franchise serves Cabarrus and Rowan counties.
A Rowan County native, Jonathan McCullough has worked in construction and maintenance most of his adult life and has been involved in every facet of construction.
