The Jeff Gordon Foundation will host the "Ultimate Speed-Dare to Race Jeff Gordon" charity 4-8:30 p.m. June 2 at Victory Lane Karting, 2330 Tipton Road, Charlotte.

The Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte's Teen Volunteer Board will host its inaugural 5K "Running for Ronald" event at 7 a.m. June 5 at McAlpine Creek Park, 8711 Monroe Road, Charlotte.

The Concord Police Department will hold the "Cup for Curtis" golf benefit 7:30 a.m. June 15 at the Highland Creek Golf Club, 7101 Highland Creek Parkway.
