Activities: Guests can enjoy rafting, climbing, flatwater kayaking, the Mega Zip, Climb 2 Zip, eco trekking, and mountain biking. The center was designated by the United State Olympic Committee as an official Olympic Training Site and has hosted international competitions, including the 2008 Olympic Trials. The Center also offers a wide selection of food, beer and wine at The River's Edge Restaurant and Bar. There is a snack bar, and catering services are available for group events. No outside food or beverages are permitted.
Cost: Passes range from $15 for a Quick Sport Pass, to $149 for an All Sport Season Pass. Prices differ depending on activity. There is a parking charge of $5. A full list of prices can be found at www.usnwc.org.

Directions from uptown Charlotte: Turn right from South Church Street to merge onto I-277 S. Continue onto U.S.-74 W. Turn left onto the Interstate 485 Inner N ramp. Follow signs for I-485 N/Statesville and merge onto I-485 N/Interstate 485 Inner N. Take exit 12 for Moores Chapel Road. At the traffic circle, take the third exit onto Moores Chapel Road. At the traffic circle, continue straight to stay on Moores Chapel Road. Turn right to stay on Moores Chapel Road. Take the first left onto Belmeade Drive. Take the third left onto Whitewater Center Parkway.
Distance from uptown Charlotte: About 20 minutes.
