Free loose leaf collection is over, but residents can still have loose leaves collected at the curb for a $75 fee on weekdays Feb. 7-25. To participate, call 704-920-5555. Collections will be scheduled first come, first served. The city will schedule only as many collections as one loose leaf collection crew can provide during the three weeks. Otherwise, residents must bag yard waste (including leaves) in untied, clear plastic or biodegradable paper bags.
