Join NASCAR Stars and Pro Anglers at Queens Landing in Mooresville, Dec. 12.
The takeoff is at sunrise and the weigh-in starts at 3 p.m. The tournament is presented by Ranger Boats and facilitated by FLW Outdoors .
NASCAR drivers Ryan Newman, Tony Stewart, Martin Truex Jr. and Regan Smith will compete with professional fishermen and lots of local anglers. Their catches will be weighed in that afternoon.
The grand prize is the boat Ryan Newman has been fishing in all year - the Ranger Z-520 with a 100th anniversary 250 Evinrude E-TEC motor, rigged electronics and a Tandem Axle Ranger Trail Trailer, all valued at $45,000.

Other prizes include cash, trolling motors, GPS systems, depth finders, rods and reels, outdoor equipment and Sprint mobile phones.
Last year, Kevin VanDam, BASS Angler of the Year 2008 shared the stage with Ryan Newman and the anglers. VanDam is considered to be the best bass angler in history.
The 2008 Tournament raised $155,000. Three hundred and nineteen anglers and celebrities participated. Alfred Kiesling Sr. and Cliff Kirby won the grand prize.
Team check-in is Dec. 11 from 2 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. at the FLW Outdoors stage at Queen's Landing in Mooresville.
The Tournament also includes a Big Fish Contest with a cash prize and a raffle for rod and reel combos, autographed NASCAR memorabilia, Ranger Boats jackets, race shop tours and lures. Raffle tickets will be sold Friday at team check-in and Saturday morning at the boat launch.
To fish the event you must register at check-in on Dec. 11. You must have a valid North Carolina fishing license by Dec. 11.The Ryan Newman Foundation 5th Annual Charity Dinner and Auction on Friday night has been sold out.
Newman and his wife, Krissie, established the Ryan Newman Foundation in January 2005.
The mission of the foundation is to educate and encourage people to spay or neuter their pets and to adopt dogs and cats from animal shelters; to educate children and adults about the importance of conservation; and to provide college scholarship funding through the Rich Vogler Scholarship program to students interested in auto racing careers.
