Pam and Jack Ryan of Cornelius have decorated their entire home - inside and out - for an open house to benefit the fight against pancreatic cancer.
The Christmas display includes a miniature Department 56 "Christmas in the City" Village with more than 75 homes, a working miniature railroad and many accessories. The village takes up the couple's entire living room.
Other displays include more than 100 musical ornaments, six different Christmas trees and several Nativity Scenes.
The Ryans decided to have the fundraiser after their son-in-law was diagnosed with the disease.
Never miss a local story.
The open house will take place Dec. 9 and 10 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at 19133 Berkley Commons Road in Cornelius.
Admission is $20 and all proceeds will go to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
Light refreshments and door prizes will be available during the house tour.
