Fine Arts Festival: The school will hold its annual Fine Arts Festival 6-8 p.m. March 8at the school, 13345 Beatties Ford Road, Huntersville. The event showcases student artwork and is open to Bradley students and their families as well as rising sixth-graders who will be attending Bradley. Dinner will be pasta with a choice of three sauces, salad, bread and dessert provided by Bravo Italian Restaurant. Dinner tickets are $6 per person and are available from Bradley students. Dinner orders should be accompanied by check or cash payment, the student's name and number of diners. New principal: Dana Jarrett was appointed the new principal of Davidson Elementary School by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Board of Education at their Feb. 14 meeting. Jarrett has worked in Cabarrus County since 2003, where his most recent position was assistant principal of instruction. He holds a bachelor's degree in elementary education and a master's in school administration, both from UNC Charlotte.
Huntersville Elementary School
Book Fair: Today is the last day of the Huntersville Elementary School's Spring Book Fair. The event runs through 3:15 p.m. today at the school located at 200 Gilead Road, Huntersville.
