Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Lake Norman

Service: “Social Action: My Next Step.” Amy Hartman will share her latest adventure and upcoming project in Guatemala. Nursery available. 11 a.m. Aug. 24.

Spiritual exploration groups: Adult discussion group will explore and share inspiration and challenges. Humanist group will discuss living with purpose, pain and suffering, and what it means to be a “happy humanist.” 9:45 a.m. Sundays. Youth group will resume in the fall. Temple Kol Tikvah of Lake Norman

Raffle and dinner: A cash prize of $10,000 will be awarded during a reverse raffle and dinner sponsored by Temple Kol Tikvah. A maximum of 250 tickets will be sold. Winner does not need to be present to claim prize. Proceeds go to Camp Dogwood and other community efforts. Television and radio personality Stacey Simms will serve as emcee.
