Terry Miller e-mailed with an update on his new D'Vine Wine shop to open soon at Ballantyne Village in the former Under the Grape space.
Miller is opening the shop with partner Denise Dean.
“The wine thing is my passion,” he wrote. “I have been a collector for over 30 years and am a medal-winning winemaker, specializing in reds – mostly zinfandel and Bordeaux blends.”
Justin Boudrie, formerly of Vintage Wine Cellar, will be general manager, Miller wrote.
Never miss a local story.
Miller says the shop will include an expansion of the existing wine bar space and an adjacent space upstairs. The expanded full kitchen will serve a menu of tapas, shared-plate items, light pastas, and cheeses from all over the world, paired with wines by the glass.
The new tasting room will host wine education classes and private networking functions.
