South Mecklenburg Presbyterian Church hosts its annual community fall festival Saturday. The free event runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and features games, food, live music, entertainment and inflatables. The church is at 8601 Bryant Farms Road.
On Tuesday at 7 p.m., the Matthews Historical Foundation will hold its meeting at Matthews Woman's Club, 208 S.
