Sugaw Creek Recreation Center (943 W. Sugar Creek Road) hosts the Ned Pollock/Queen City Memorial Boxing Tournament 6 p.m. Saturday. The tournament features 15-20 bouts between boxers ages 10-24. Admission: $10 for adults, and $5 for students and kids.
The Urban Ministry Center plans a clothing drive with the tournament. Donate hats, gloves, socks and backpacks for homeless people noon-4 p.m. Saturday at the center.
The NCAFFL/Prime Time Sports offers adult flag football leagues for men, women and coed this fall in the University City area and Pineville. Anyone is eligible.
