Donations needed: Goodwill needs donations to fund its local job training and employment programs, which helped more than 15,000 people in their job searches last year. Goodwill accepts new and gently used clothing, household items, toys, computers and more. One working computer gives a person 5.3 hours of career counseling. One bike, one coat and one DVD give a person one hour of on-the-job training. Six shirts and two pairs of jeans give a person an hour-long job-search class.
