Snyder kicks in All-American Bowl

Myers Park senior kicker and punter Miller Snyder played in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio on Jan. 8. The game was broadcast nationally on NBC.

Snyder was the designated punter for the East team, punting four times for 159 yards and a long punt of 47 yards. Two of his punts were downed inside the 20-yard line. East won the game 13-10.

Snyder committed to play college football at UNC Chapel Hill in December.

Frost to Auburn

Butler linebacker Kris Frost committed to play football at Auburn next year during the game in San Antonio. Frost, ranked the fourth-best linebacker in the country by rivals.com, chose the Tigers over Michigan and LSU.

Frost made 103 tackles and five sacks this year.
