Historic Charlotte will celebrate National Historic Preservation Month with a series of events focus on the design and architecture prevalent during the 1950s and 1960s.
The group will host Modernism at Risk, a panel discussion about Mid-Century Modernism at the Wells Fargo Auditorium at the Knight Theatre, 430 S. Tryon St., on Tuesday. Registration will be from 5:30 to 6 p.m. The panel discussion will be from 6 to 7:15 p.m. A reception will follow from 7:15 to 8 p.m.
On May 7 and 8, the organization will host walking tours at 10 and 11 a.m.
