Mykala Woodard was killed on Jan. 12, 2011, when she was attacked by two pit bull dogs on Rehobeth Road in Waxhaw. The girl’s great-grandmother, Nancy Presson, was injured while trying to save Mykala.
The victim’s family received $20,000 in February as a settlement with Gordon’s homeowners’ insurance company.
