Three players on the Charlotte women’s soccer team have been named to the all-Conference USA postseason teams, league officials announced Nov. 4.
Midfielder Amanda Jones and defender Monica Trickett were named second-team all-C-USA. Freshman defender Nicole Anderson was named to the league’s all-freshman team. The 49ers finished atop the conference’s East Division standings.
Jones, an all-Atlantic 10 selection last season, led Charlotte with eight goals and 19 points during the 2013 season. She was twice selected for conference or national honors: to the TopDrawerSoccer.com National Team of the Week on Aug. 27, and the C-USA offensive player of the week on Oct. 7.
Anderson, who also saw time at midfielder, finished her inaugural season with seven goals and an assist. Charlotte 49ers Media Relations
