A man who wore a white construction helmet and yellow safety vest to rob a Wells Fargo Bank in August is suspected of robbing a SunTrust Bank on South Sharon Amity Road on Tuesday, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said.
Shortly after 9 a.m. Aug. 26, a robber approached an employee at the Wells Fargo in the 4110 block of North Tryon Street and handed the employee a note demanding money. The man left with an amount of money police are not disclosing.
About the same time Tuesday, the same man robbed the SunTrust Bank in the 200 block of South Sharon Amity Road, police said. He wore a baseball cap and a blue short-sleeve V-neck shirt over a long-sleeve green shirt.
