Gaston County Police are asking the public for help identifying who broke into a drink machine at Lucia Food Market.

About 2:13 a.m. on Jan. 29, someone broke in to the machine at the store, at 104 Killian Road in Stanley, Gaston County Police said.

The store’s video surveillance system recorded two white males who drove up to the store in a white Chevrolet full-size truck with silver rims. Police say the men are their suspects.

The first man is about 5-foot-9 and was wearing blue jeans, a tan jacket, and a gray hooded sweatshirt underneath the jacket. This suspect also had on a ball cap and had the hood pulled up over his head.

The second man is about 6-feet tall and was wearing blue jeans, a dark jacket, with a dark hooded sweatshirt underneath the jacket. This man also had the hood pulled up over his head as well.

The suspects used a hammer like object and a pry bar to beat the lock off the drink machine and then used the bar to pry open the drink machine.

The surveillance system recording of this incident can be viewed on the Gaston County Police Department YouTube site.
