Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating the 17-year-old who was recently added to the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office “Most Wanted” list.

Douglas Martin Patrick, of Granite Quarry, is a suspect in several daytime residential breaking and entering cases, the sheriff’s office said.

On Feb. 15, detectives began investigating a residential break-in on Medium Drive near Rockwell, as well as a similar case on Autumn Wood Lane near Salisbury, officials said.

Detectives said they learned Granite Quarry Police were also investigating similar crimes in their jurisdiction.

During their investigation, sheriff’s detectives said they identified Destiny Moore, 21, of Granite Quarry, as a suspect and located stolen property in her possession from the homes on Medium Drive and Autumn Wood Lane.

On Thursday, detectives served a search warrant at Moore’s Cemetery Circle residence and recovered additional stolen property, officials said. Authorities also identified Patrick as an additional suspect and obtained warrants for his arrest.

Moore was charged with two counts of felony breaking and entering and obtaining property by false pretenses, officials said. She was jailed under a $7,500 bond.

Authorities said the investigation is ongoing and Granite Quarry Police have been informed of the case status, as well as the evidence uncovered.

Anyone with information about Patrick’s location or any of these crimes is asked to call Detective Teresa Hapt at 704-216-8702 or Lieutenant Chad Moose at 704-216-8687.
