A Granite Quarry teen wanted in connection with at least two residential burglaries is behind bars in Rowan County, according to the sheriff’s office.

Douglas Martin Patrick, 17, was arrested by deputies early Saturday and jailed under $25,000 bond. According to arrest warrants, he was charged with two felony counts each of breaking and entering and larceny.

Sheriff’s deputies had identified Patrick as a suspect in burglaries on Medium Drive near Rockwell and on Autumn Wood Lane near Salisbury. Detectives said they found stolen property from both burglaries in the possession of 21-year-old Destiny Moore of Granite Quarry.

Moore was charged with two felony counts of breaking and entering and obtaining property by false pretenses.

Through that arrest, deputies said, they identified Patrick as a suspect. He was added to the sheriff’s office most wanted list Thursday and then arrested less than two days later.

According to arrest warrants, Patrick is accused of taking $10,000 worth of jewelry and other items from the residence on Autumn Wood Lane.
