Mooresville police said Wednesday they are still looking for the man who robbed a convenience store early Tuesday.

Police now have released surveillance photos of the man who allegedly robbed the Circle K store in the 200 block of West Plaza Drive. The crime was reported about 1:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Police said the man entered the store and demanded money from the clerk. Investigators said the robber implied that he had a weapon but did not display it.

The suspect was described as a black male, about 6 feet tall and weighing 200 pounds. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, and he escaped in a black sedan, possibly a Honda Accord.

Anyone with information in the case is asked to contact Mooresville police at 704-664-3311.
