Days after a man accused of peeping into the homes of two Rock Hill women last month was arrested, two more women have reported spotting someone outside their homes watching them, police say.
On Tuesday, police spoke with a woman, 24, who reported that a man in dark clothing looked through a window towards the back of her Marshall Street home before walking away toward Walnut Street, according to a Rock Hill police report. Police searched the area, but could not find anyone.
At about 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, a woman, 32, told police that a man wearing dark clothing rode his bicycle between her neighbors’ houses, according to police documents. As she approached her Kimbrook Court home, off Willowbrook Avenue, she noticed that the motion light came on. The light only activates when something passes beside it. The woman, who police say has been the victim of numerous Peeping Tom incidents in the past, was afraid of pulling into her driveway when she noticed the man around her house. The suspect saw the woman, jumped onto his bicycle and fled the area, heading towards North Jones Avenue. Police searched several houses in the area but could not find the man.
Police on Sunday arrested and charged Denzel Boozer, 21, with Peeping Tom/aggravated voyeurism after they say he peeped on two women last month while he sported a blue blanket. He left footprints in the snow. One of the women recognized him and picked him out in a photo lineup. He is still held at the York County Detention Center on a more than $31,000 bond.
