A Caldwell County man was convicted last week on charges of indecent liberties with a child, prosecutors say.

Bryan Adrian White Jr., 21, of Lenoir, was sentenced to between 19 and 32 months in prison, authorities said. In addition, he was ordered to register with the North Carolina Sex Offender Registry and be monitored electronically for life.

Prosecutors said the charges stemmed from an incident in October 2012 in Lenoir.
