Tuckaseegee Road shooting investigated

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police were investigating a shooting that happened Sunday afternoon in west Charlotte.

Capt. Todd Lontz said that about 3 p.m., police were dispatched to the 5400 block of Tuckaseegee Road in response to a man who had been shot in the arm.

Lontz said the injury was not life-threatening. He declined to comment on whether police had any suspects in the case. Elisabeth Arriero
