Kannapolis police seek man in stabbing of father

Kannapolis police are looking for a man in connection with the stabbing of his father Sunday night.
Police said John Preston Campbell Jr., 21, fled after his father, Lloyd Preston Campbell was stabbed.
Investigators said the incident was reported shortly before 10:30 p.m. Police found Lloyd Campbell suffering from a knife wound in the back and a cut on his stomach.
Police said they were told that the father was stabbed with a kitchen knife by his son during an altercation. Lloyd Campbell was taken to CMC-Northeast Medical Center, and police said he is recovering from his injuries.
John Campbell Jr. is described as white, about 5 feet 8 and 160 pounds with red hair and green eyes. Steve Lyttle
