A 21-year-old woman is charged with a break-in and the theft of prescription and over-the-counter drugs, deputies say.

A Stanly County woman has been charged with stealing prescription and over-the-counter drugs from a home in the southern part of the county, according to authorities.

The Stanly County Sheriff’s Office said Winter Nicole Mclain, 21, of Richfield, was arrested late last week. Deputies allege Mclain stole the drugs in early March from a residence in the Aquadale community.

She was charged with breaking and entering and larceny. Deputies did not say how much the drugs were worth. Staff reports
