Stanly man charged in theft of bayonets

A Stanly County man has been charged with stealing a collection of bayonets and swords during a residential break-in, authorities say.

Keith Morris Morgan, 27, of Richfield was arrested last week in connection with a break-in reported April 12. He was charged with two felonies – breaking and entering, and larceny.

Morgan was jailed under $20,000 bond. He’s scheduled to be in court Monday. Observer Staff Reports
