A Lenoir man who police say was already on probation for previous drug offenses was arrested early this week on cocaine-related charges.
Daniel Nicholas Williams, 34, was arrested Monday after a search of his residence in the 900 block of Kenham Place, according to Lenoir police.
Investigators said because he is on probation for drug charges, Williams is subject to searches without a warrant. Police said they found 10.9 grams of powder cocaine and $2,900 in cash in his residence.
Williams was charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver cocaine; manufacturing cocaine; and maintaining a dwelling for storage of a controlled substance. Police said the investigation was the result of complaints from the public.
