Concord police are asking for help with finding a vehicle they say was involved in a hit-and-run that resulted in serious injury last Sunday.

On May 4, Silvio Cadolino, 61, was driving south on U.S. 29 around 4:15 p.m. when his Chevrolet Corvette was hit by a vehicle turning onto Carpenter Court from the northbound lane, police said.

The contact caused Cadolino’s vehicle to overturn, resulting in serious injury, according to police. Investigators believe the unknown vehicle is a light-colored Ford Aerostar van or similar vehicle.

The vehicle would likely have minor damage to the left front quarter or bumper area. Anyone with information should call Concord police at 704-920-5000 or Cabarrus Area Crime Stoppers at 704-932-7463.
