A Concord man was arrested Wednesday evening in what Huntersville police say was an alleged road rage-fueled shooting.
No injuries were reported.
Huntersville police said they were called about 5:40 p.m. Wednesday to the 17000 block of Davidson-Concord Road (N.C. 73). That is near Bradford Park, east of N.C. 115.
Police said a motorist reported that the driver of another vehicle fired shots at him with a rifle during some sort of traffic disagreement. The motorist said he followed the alleged shooter and called 911 with the driver’s location.
Police said they got a description of the vehicle and spotted it on N.C. 115 at Holbrook Road. Officers said they searched the vehicle and found a loaded rifle.
The driver, identified as Bradley Lawrence Mahdinec, 39, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon, police said.
