A Kannapolis couple was sentenced to prison this week in federal court in Greensboro after being convicted in a child pornography case.

Steven Anthony Webb, 42, a former Kannapolis police officer, and Tracy Ann Webb, 38, had entered guilty pleas in December.

Steven Webb, who was a Kannapolis police officer from 2008 until last July, was sentenced to 10 years in prison and 15 years’ probation after a conviction of accessing child pornography with the intent to view it.

Tracy Ann Webb was sentenced to three years in prison and one year probation. She was convicted of misprision of a felony, which means authorities accused her of not reporting her husband’s activities.
