Authorities say an Albemarle man was arrested last weekend and accused of failing to notify authorities that he, a registered sex offender, had moved.

Jessie Lee Huntley, 52, was arrested Saturday at a residence on South Morrow Avenue, according to the Stanly County Sheriff’s Office. He was charged with failure to notify sheriff of change of address.

Investigators said they learned on April 7 that Huntley had moved. He was located last week.
