Morning robbery at Wendy’s in NW Charlotte

Police said the robbery was reported about 6 a.m. at the restaurant, in the 3500 block of Mount Holly-Huntersville Road, near Brookshire Boulevard.

A man shot out the front window of a Wendy’s restaurant in northwest Charlotte Tuesday, entered the building and then robbed the manager at gunpoint, investigators said. No injuries were reported in the armed robbery, police said. The robbery was reported about 6 a.m. at the restaurant on Mount Holly-Huntersville Road. The manager was working at the time of the robbery, preparing to open the restaurant, police said. Steve Lyttle
