No injuries were reported early Friday morning when two men robbed a Stallings convenience store at gunpoint, police said.

The robbery took place at a store just a short distance from Interstate 485 and the Mecklenburg County line.

Police said two men entered the 7-Eleven, in the 15000 block of Idlewild Road, about 3:30 a.m. No customers were in the store at the time, and police said the suspects ordered the clerk to get on the floor. At least one of the men was armed.

Police taped off the entrance to the convenience store for several hours Friday morning, with three patrol cars parked along Idlewild Road. The store is at the entrance of a shopping center next to I-485.

The store has surveillance cameras, and police are expected to look at the video.
