Stanly teen charged in fireworks, dirt bike theft

A Stanly County teen has been charged in the theft of fireworks and a dirt bike, according to the Stanly County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies said Joseph Emmanuel Harwood was charged with felony breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering.

A Stanly County teen has been charged in the theft of fireworks and a dirt bike, according to the Stanly County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said Joseph Emmanuel Harwood, 17, of Oakboro, was arrested last weekend and charged with felony breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering. He was jailed under $10,000 bond, authorities said.

Harwood is accused of stealing a dirt bike and fireworks, worth a total of $1,200, from a residence in the western part of the county.
