Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are asking for help identifying an armed robbery suspect from an incident last week.

The suspect is a black man, approximately 5’10” in height and has a thin beard. He was last seen wearing all dark gray and a black toboggan hat.

He entered the LA Insurance business last Wednesday, demanded money and pointed a gun at the employee. The employee was able to close the door and the suspect shot into the business. He then fled on foot. No one was injured.

Anyone with information about the identity of the suspect is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
