Iredell County authorities are seeking two men who allegedly obtained a pre-paid debit card fraudulently and used it in Davie County.

The Iredell County Sheriff’s Office said employees at the Family Dollar store on Turnersburg Highway near Statesville reported on May 5 that two men used a counterfeit credit card to buy the pre-paid debit card.

Detectives tracked financial activities on the debit card and found it had been used at a Murphy’s gas station in Mocksville.

Anyone with information in the case is asked to contact Crime Stoppers, 704-662-1340, or sheriff’s detectives at 704-878-3180.
