Soldier faces rape charges in Gaston County

A 22-year-old member of the U.S. Army has been charged with sexually assaulting two teens at a residence in northern Gaston County, police say.
Tyrone Dvontae Brown was arrested by military police at Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah, Ga. Brown is an Army specialist E4, authorities said.
Brown was charged with five counts of statutory rape of a person who is 13, 14 or 15 years old. He was extradited to Gaston County and jailed under $1 million bond, police said.
