Teen falls down waterfall at state park

Burke County rescue crews were trying to rescue a teenager who fell over a waterfall at South Mountain State Park, according to WSOC-TV.

It wasn’t clear how badly the teen was injured late Tuesday or what caused him to fall.

Burke County emergency officials haven’t released the teen’s name.

One of the main attractions of South Mountain State Park in Connelly Springs is a waterfall that drops more than 80 feet.
