Rowan County authorities search for registered sex offender

Rowan County sheriff’s investigators are asking for the public’s help in finding a registered sex offender who cut off his electronic monitor and is wanted in the theft of large zero-turn lawn mowers.

On June 28, authorities obtained warrants on Parham for two counts of felony larceny. On Thursday, investigator obtained warrants on Parham for interfering with an electronic monitoring device and failing to notify a change of address for a sex offender

Parham’s last known address was 3520 Old Beatty Ford Road, China Grove.

“Parham has made statements to associates that he was not coming back to Rowan County,” Sifford said. Parham also hasn’t retunred to his China Grove address.

Anyone who knows his whereabouts should call 911.
